Jenner at Königssee

After a pause due to the reconstruction of the Jennerbahn in the winter season 2017/18, in 2018/19 skilifts on Jenner will work again!

Royal skiing pleasure on Jenner, the mountain for professionals and those who want to be it, is an experience of a special kind. Among ski- and snowboard-fans the challenging ski-runs of the Jenner ski-arena that offers enough snow and sun even into spring are considered as an insiders' tip.

At the 4th of August 2018 the new Jennerbahn was put into partial operation - now you can reach the middle station ("Mittelstation") on the heigth of 1200 m. Thus, in the winter season 2018/19 skilifts will work again on mountain Jenner. The Jennerbahn will work until the middle station; as well the new "Jennerwiesenbahn" and the "Krautkaserbahn" will be put into operation.

The construction of the highest station will still take a while; it is planned to finish the renovation works up to the mountain station on the heigth of 1874 m until summer 2019.

The former double chair lift "Mitterkaser" will be replaced by a new 6-person-chair lift, the old double chair lift "Jennerwiese" was removed from its original location and put to the middle station. The relatively easy terrain is supposed to offer a possibility to practice mainly for children, therefore all the technical constructions are built suitable for children.
