Located close to lake Konigssee in the county of Berchtesgaden, the Jennerbahn funicular is your gateway to an extraordinary alpine adventure.

Important: The Jennerbahn is being renovated at the moment. At the 4th of August 2018 the new Jennerbahn was put into partial operation - now you can reach the middle station ("Mittelstation") on the heigth of 1200 m.

There the new restaurant "Halbzeit" ("half-time") is expecting you. The sun terrace with a panoramic view invites you to stay for a while and to enjoy.

The construction of the new Jennerbahn works at full speed. It is planned to finish the renovation works up to the mountain station on the heigth of 1874 m until summer 2019. However, this does not mean that you cannot enjoy the mountain Jenner as a hiking area meanwhile. Please note that the summit path at the moment is only accessible on the southern side, on the "Königsbachalm".
