The Castle Wimbach (Wimbachschloss), which is located at an altitude of 937 m, can be reached on foot from our hotel in around 1,5 hours.
The castle was built in 1784 and later used as a hunting lodge, especially by king Max II. and the prince regent Luitpold.
Today there is a restaurant inside the castle, where you can relax and restore after the ascent.
