Bei Touristen überaus beliebt ist die große Eishöhle oder Eiskapelle, unter anderem wegen ihrer leichten Erreichbarkeit von der Station St. Bartholomä am Königssee aus.Die Schönheit der Höhle kann man auch im Sommer genießen. Einen unvergesslichen Eindruck erzeugt auch die Schellenberger Eishöhle: Sie ist die größte Eishöhle Deutschlands, und liegt auf einer Höhe von 1570 Metern. 60000 Kubikmeter Eis mit einer Dicke von bis zu 30 Metern bezaubern und überraschen sogar die Phantasie.
